Restoration Mechanical Repair

The Muru Crew Mechanical Program is designed for those passionate about:
  • Classic Car Restoration: From bodywork to interiors, learn the art of bringing vehicles back to life.
  • Engine Rebuilding: Master the mechanics of different engine types with hands-on experience.
  • Maintenance Skills: Develop expertise in routine checks, repairs, and servicing to ensure vehicles run smoothly.
Our program offers:
Hands-on Learning: Each session is packed with practical, real-world experience guided by industry professionals.
Expert Guidance: Learn from skilled mechanics and restoration experts who will mentor you every step of the way.
Comprehensive Training: Gain confidence in your ability to restore and maintain vehicles, setting you up for success in the automotive industry.
 
This Group will run on Thursdays from 11am – 1pm

Music Sessions

Music Sessions run Tuesday’s at 12pm – 3pm. Build your musical skills through experimental jams and work with others in a relaxed space. 

A combination of musical and NDIS sector experience to help unleash the inner rock-star in you!

You will not only have fun but learn and enhance your skills. Open to all musical skill levels.

Art Group

Art Group runs Thursdays at 9.00am to 12.00pm and 3.00pm to 5.00pm for NDIS Participants at the Muru Pathways Head Office in a relaxed space with other like minded artists.

Explore digital art on industry leading software or traditional art mediums like acrylic paints, pencil, inks, pastels and watercolors.

Gaming Group

Gaming Group runs every Wednesday at 1pm – 3pm in the Muru Pathways Head Office. 

Come along and join our group and make new friends whilst playing PlayStation, Nintendo DS and more on our large screen in relaxed atmosphere.

Mobility Van

 

At Muru, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to stay connected — whether that’s getting to work or study, attending appointments, or simply enjoying time out in the community.

We currently have capacity to support participants with transport to and from work or study, as well as day trips to help you get out and about, build independence, and stay engaged in the activities you enjoy.

Our accessible mobility van is designed with comfort, safety, and inclusion in mind. We proudly support both wheelchair users and participants who do not use wheelchairs.

How We Support You

Wheelchair accessible vehicle (up to 250kg capacity)

Comfortable seating for 4 passengers plus 1 wheelchair position

Travel with your Support Worker and/or companion at no extra cost

Side and rear door access with a mobility-aided safety step

Hydraulic wheelchair lift (250kg capacity)

Please note: A headrest is required for all wheelchair users travelling on NSW roads in line with safety regulations.
