Shoko is a qualified Social Worker and Psychosocial Recovery Coach.
Shoko has had a lifelong passion supporting vulnerable people to find the right tools and pathways to achieve their personal goals.
After Shoko completed a Bachelor of Community Development Studies in Canada in 2011, she went on to work with young people who were struggling with substance abuse and mental health illness. Shoko also worked in an orphanage in Haiti and on a medical ship in PNG which has provided her with vast experience working in challenging environments.
After moving to Australia, Shoko completed a Master of Social Work Degree at the University of New England. Shoko has worked with government and non-government organisations where she supports people who have complex issues such as mental health issues, trauma, drug, and alcohol issues and have endured family violence.
Shoko enjoys skateboarding, motorbiking, music, hiking, and travel.
